Kentucky Baptist
Convention - The Kentucky Baptist Convention is a
cooperative missions and ministry organization made up of nearly
2,400 autonomous Baptist churches in Kentucky. These churches have a
total membership of more than 750,000.

Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief - When disaster
strikes, some of the first to respond to help are Southern Baptist
disaster relief volunteers. Kentucky has an active disaster relief
program which works in concert with similar programs in other
states. Kentucky volunteers can staff feeding units designed to
deliver thousands of hot meals on short notice, move in with
chainsaws to help remove debris, do the dirty work of helping
families remove mud from flooded homes and provide many other
disaster relief services.

Convention - Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta,
Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown to over 16
million members who worship in more than 45,000 churches in the
United States. Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 missionaries

Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign
missionaries in 153 nations of the world.

Convention of Oklahoma - The Baptist General Convention
of Oklahoma is a partnership of churches serving together under the
Lordship of Jesus Christ to impact lostness with the Gospel by
making disciples of all peoples. Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief
volunteers in disaster areas in the US and beyond in feeding
victims, assessing damage, providing child care, purifying water and
more. Volunteers and donations are always welcome.

Ham Days - The last full weekend in September
celebrates the Marion County Country Ham Days, a "Kentucky Top-Ten
Event", hosted by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce along with
its business partners and volunteers. The festival welcomes over
50,000 visitors and acts as an agent for community empowerment.

WMU Missions for Life - Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)
wants to help your children learn about and do missions!
The Children’s Resource Team at WMU provides missions resources for
children, churches, and families. We focus on children in grades 1
through 6.
Most of our resources feature Southern Baptist missionaries. WMU is
an auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention.
We produce two missions education curriculum lines: Children
in Action (coed) and Girls in Action (for girls).
We will also begin providing curriculum for Royal
Ambassadors (for boys) in fall 2012.
We also create missions books and resources used by many evangelical
