On September 16, 2018, MHBC joined thousands of other churches in Kentucky to celebrate “Back to Church Sunday”. The emphasis for this year is “You Belong Here”. There were 134 in Sunday School and a big attendance during the Morning Worship Service. There was a potluck meal following the morning worship service. Posted August 19, 2018: In a Special Called Business Meeting during the Morning Worship Service, the church voted yes to the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to have MaKayla Sabo and Caden Wheatley become our new Co-Youth Ministers. “MHBC finally got back to Brookhaven tonight. Fed them pizza and brownies/ice cream. Beth Osborne did the lesson. Mr.
Dennis was there to drive the van for us. We had approximately 10-12 children. One Mom was there with a 19 month old little
boy. We had Davette Mattingly & Kacy; Beth Osborne with Aubri & Lexi; and Melody Mays”
